Theresa Cerulli, M.D. is a graduate of Tufts University, University of Massachusetts Medical School, Harvard Longwood Residency Program in Adult Psychiatry, and Harvard Fellowships in Medical Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry.
Dr. Cerulli is Board Certified in Psychiatry and is on staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, and Hallmark Health's Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She received the 1997 Harvard Residency Teaching Award and has published several journal articles in the Harvard Review of Psychiatry. Dr. Cerulli was an Instructor at Harvard Medical School for 8 years, lecturing on a range of neuropsychiatric topics including Attention Deficit Disorder, Depression and Electroconvulsive Therapy.
Dr. Cerulli is the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer for ADD Health and Wellness, specializing in the holistic treatment of children and adults with ADD/ADHD and co-existing behavioral health conditions. Her vision is in combining traditional medicine with healthy living to promote cognitive and emotional well being. She previously served as Medical Director for the Hallowell Center. Dr. Cerulli has served nationally as an expert witness for ADHD legal cases, and works as a consultant and speaker for Shire and Novartis Pharmaceuticals in their CNS divisions. She is currently a sub-investigator with East Coast Clinical Research for two Phase IV psychotropic medication trials.
Dr. Cerulli has appeared on TV, Channel 7, Urban Update for a debate on the use of psychotropic medications in children with ADHD and a WBCN radio interview on diagnosis and treatment of ADHD. Dr. Cerulli was also interviewed on Channel 56's Health Watch regarding ADHD and the use of Quantitative EEG. She recently accepted a Medical Advisory Board position with Kiwi magazine.

Dr. Theresa Lavoie earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University where she focused on Clinical Neuropsychology and researched meditation in treating ADHD. She completed internships in Behavioral Neurology at the Harvard Longwood Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and in Pediatric Neuropsychology at New England Medical Center. Her post doctoral practice included five years at the Hallowell Center specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD where she pioneered the center’s ADHD group treatment protocol and her work was recognized nationally by US News and World Report, the Jane Pauley Show, and Reader’s Digest.
Dr. Lavoie has served as an adjunct faculty member in psychology at the University of Massachusetts and Suffolk University with numerous classes taught in Psychological Assessment, Child and Adolescent Development, and Group Dynamics. Research contributions in ADHD have included sensory processing styles, treatments with diet, and fish oil supplements.
She has worked as a Clinical Neuropsychologist in private practice specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of children and adults with ADHD. She has also worked as a forensic expert witness in both federal and local courts, has co-authored a regular column in ADDitude Magazine, supervises mental health professionals, and lectures on current topics in ADHD.

Cynthia Gittleman is a Licensed Educational Psychologist in the State of Massachusetts, as well as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Music and Arts in Education from Columbia University and a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical/Forensic Psychology from City University of New York. She received additional graduate training in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University in New York and holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology from the University of Massachusetts in Boston. She has extensive experience evaluating and treating culturally and economically diverse individuals in school, community mental health, and forensic settings, with particular interests in neuropsychological assessment, social/emotional disorders, and learning disabilities.
Christie Blake, APRN is a Board Certified Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist in the state of Massachusetts. She is a 1999 graduate of Trinity College, where she received her Bachelors Degree in Behavioral and Biological Neuroscience. While at Trinity she wrote her thesis on the role of parental contact, temperament and psychopathology in the clinical diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in children.
After completing her Bachelors degree, Christie worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Manager at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Pediatric Psychopharmacology Research Unit under the direction of Dr. Joseph Biederman. Here she coordinated and supervised numerous industry-sponsored clinical trials and NIMH-funded grants for the treatment of ADHD across the life span. Christie also co-authored a paper on the psychiatric comorbidity and functioning of preschool and school-aged children with ADHD, which was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
In 2005 Christie graduated from Yale University’s Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program with a specialization in child and adolescent mental health. She received psychotherapy training at West Haven Mental Health Center and psychopharmacology training at Yale University’s Child Study Center. Christie enjoys working closely with children, adults, and their families in all areas of mental health and wellness.
Lynne Edgecomb-Nickeson graduated with her MSW from University of New Hampshire and comes to ADD Health and Wellness with 10 years of experience utilizing many treatment modalities which include cognitive behavioral, group, family and alternative treatments such as art and expressive therapies. She has worked extensively with individuals, children, adolescents, and families at agencies that include a Non Profit Teen Center, community mental health center, an agency for the developmentally disabled, and a transitional living program for homeless women and children. Lynne also has experience working with ADHD within her own family.
Mary Hurwitz, M.Ed., ACG, LMHC is a credentialed and certified ADHD coach with over thirty years experience as a specialist in ADHD and Learning Disabilities.
Mary holds advanced degrees in both counseling and Special Needs Education. She has a Master’s Degree in Special Education from San Francisco State University in California and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychology from Cambridge College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is also certified as a Special Needs Educational Consultant through Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mary has impressive credentials from two major coach training schools. She is a graduate of ADHD Coach Academy in Slingerlands, New York and The College for Executive Coaching in Ventura, California. She is a licensed mental health counselor and a certified coach of The PaperRoom, a groundbreaking inquiry process that amplifies and accelerates career exploration. She served on the Board of Directors of the New England Chapter of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the governing body of the coaching industry
Mary wrote more than 150 individualized educational plans for students, wrote and administered four state grants addressing both parenting and public school policies for special needs children and adolescents. She has designed and led presentations on ADHD for the Massachusetts Department of Education and the 65th annual state conference of Vocational Educators.
Dr. Sheri Gaines received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. She then went to the University of Texas Medical School at Houston where she received her Medical Degree. Following that, she completed residency in psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at UT Houston where she served as Chief Resident. She is Board Certified in adult, adolescent, and child psychiatry.
Dr. Gaines has presented locally and nationally on a variety of topics including ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Psychopharmacology, and Commitment of Sexually Violent Predators. She has over ten years experience as a forensic expert witness. She currently serves on the Speaker's Bureau for Forrest Pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Gaines has worked in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, public health, correctional care, hospitals, and residential treatment centers. She has over ten years experience with diagnosing and treating seniors, adults, adolescents, and children with a variety of diagnoses specializing in working with people previously unresponsive to treatment by emphasizing education about symptoms, medication, and other treatment modalities. She has had the opportunity to work in many settings that utilize a multidisciplinary treatment approach.
Dr. Tracie DeJarnette-Holly is an Adult and Child Psychiatrist that is also Board Certified in Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. DeJarnette received her Bachelors of Science Degree from Michigan State University. She earned her Medical Degree from Meharry Medical College. She completed her internship and General Psychiatry residency at Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, LA. She finished her Child Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry fellowships at Tulane University. During her residency, Dr. DeJarnette was nominated for Outstanding Resident with the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She also was the primary research therapist for a randomized comparative study of depression.
Since residency Dr. DeJarnette’s experience had been quite eclectic. She has worked in private practice with an emphasis on pain management and several residential treatment facilities and day programs for children who are emotionally disturbed. Additionally, she has consulted with schools and the juvenile justice system. She has done extensive work in psychiatric emergency settings concentrating on crisis resolution. She has also performed evaluations for Workman’s Compensation and Disability. Dr. DeJarnette’s focus of treatment includes depression, ADHD, OCD, Panic disorder and Bipolar Disorder. She believes in an integrative approach in managing illness and her objective for every client is optimal functioning in daily life.
Dr. Valerie Sive-Ramirez is a licensed psychologist with specialized training in neuropsychology and is credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. She graduated from USD with an undergraduate degree in psychology and Master of Arts degree in marriage and family therapy. She holds a Doctorate degree in psychology from USF. She completed post-doctorate training in Clinical Neuropsychology from Fielding Graduate Institute. She also completed two years post-doctoral training in rehabilitation neuropsychology.
Dr. Sive-Ramirez has worked in various clinical settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, residential treatment centers, schools, and outpatient centers. She also has conducted in-home neuropsychological assessments and treatments. She worked on a brain injury unit and has extensive experience working in multidisciplinary environments providing assessment, diagnosis, case management and psychotherapy services to seniors, adults, adolescents and children with diverse backgrounds. In addition to her clinical experience, she worked in a research setting providing advice and performance of neuropsychological assessments to evaluate the potential of a computer-based training program to enhance cognitive performance in older adults.
Michelle Garcia-Thomas is a licensed Clinical Psychologist. She received her Bachelors Degree from Florida State University, and her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Michelle has obtained extensive experience through a broad variety of settings and have worked as part of many interdisciplinary teams with a wide multitude of agencies.
Over the years, Michelle has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with diverse diagnoses and treatment needs. She has provided behavioral supports for people diagnosed with Developmental Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders in their homes, school, and work environments. She has also conducted psychological and neuropsychological assessment at a Veterans Administration Medical Center to provide treatment as well as for diagnostic impressions, at a psychiatric facility to coordinate medication trials, and through contracts with state mental health and developmental disabilities offices in order to assist with eligibility and treatment planning. She conducted individual and group therapy at a Veterans Administration Medical Center, community counseling facility, in schools, at a community mental health center, and at an inpatient eating disorder facility. Furthermore, she has worked with athletes on performance and other issues in a university setting.
Michelle has also conducted numerous presentations, workshops, and seminars on a large spectrum of topics.
